Yield payment in connection with the fund

The fund has a special “Y” (yield-paying) series which pays a yield to the debit of the capital appreciation once a year, according to the method defined in point 31 of the Management Regulation. The precondition for this is that the net asset value (price) of one unit of the fund should exceed the nominal value on the value date3 of 31 October in the subject year i.e. the fund should generate a yield in the previous year. The yield (the portion in excess of the nominal value) will be automatically paid to the cash account of the investors within 10 working days after the above date. Then, the price of the units will fall back to the nominal value. The investment units can be redeemed at any time4, regardless of the yield payment.

Series “A” of the fund does not pay any yields, the total yield of this series will be reinvested again according to the fund’s investment policy. The investor can realise the yield of series “A” through the redemption of the investment units. The investment units can be redeemed at any time4.

What kind of risks may arise in connection with the fund?

The purchase of the fund’s investment units has several inherent risks, the majority of which can be tracked back to the fact that the value of the assets included in the fund’s portfolio fluctuates. The price changes of the majority of the investment assets included in the fund’s portfolio depend on the macroeconomic situation of Hungary, including the changes to inflation and interest rates, and is significantly affected by the development of equity prices and the extent of the profits achieved by the corporations. However, in the short term, corporate results and the changes to equity prices may differ significantly.
