Garantiqa Portfolio Guarantee

 

On the basis of the cooperation agreement concluded between Garantiqa Hitelgarancia Zrt. and UniCredit Bank Hungary Zrt., the Garantiqa Portfolio Guarantee product automatically provides micro-, small and medium enterprises according to Act XXXIV of 2004 with a guarantee for practically any type of obligation up to HUF 100,000,000.

 

On the basis of individual agreement, the joint and several guarantee by Garantiqa Hitelgarancia Zrt. enables the bank to provide short or long term loans and bank guarantee facilities to viable enterprises that, without the guarantee of Garantiqa Hitelgarancia Zrt., could not otherwise avail of such services or would only be able to do so under much less favourable conditions.

  • The Garantiqa Portfolio Guarantee is 80% in every case.
  • The guarantee fee is lower than the normal fee according to Garantiqa’s Announcement.
  • The Garantiqa Portfolio Guarantee can be linked to HUF transactions or transactions of any other currency.
  • The term of the credit transaction to which the Garantiqa Portfolio Guarantee pertains can be up to 15 years.

To whom do we recommend the Garantiqa Portfolio Guarantee?

To small and medium enterprises registered in Hungary which

  • certifiably have no overdue public debt;
  • have no debt to Garantiqa Hitelgarancia Zrt. or any other guarantor institution, financial institution, or debt related to a central budget guarantee, or a credit institution bank guarantee;
  • according to the Central Credit Information System, have no overdue credit debts or debts settled after the deadline;
  • do not have and have not had qualified credit transactions at the bank in the last 2 years;
  • which do not qualify as companies in a difficult financial position on the basis of European Union guidelines and
  • which fulfil the terms of Garantiqa Hitelgarancia Zrt.’s Business Regulations and the conditions specified in the Garantiqa Portfolio Guarantee Agreement.

Features of the Garantiqa Portfolio Guarantee

  • Garantiqa Portfolio Guarantee can be linked to any short or long term credit such as:
    • current account overdraft;
    • working capital loan;
    • multi-purpose credit line;
    • long-term investment loan;
    • bank guarantee facilities where the term of the guarantees that can be given cannot exceed the expiration of the bank guarantee framework agreement.
  • One client at a time can apply for Garantiqa Portfolio Guarantee for a transaction of maximum HUF 100,000,000, in case of start-up companies1 maximum HUF 15,000,000. Garantiqa Hitelgarancia Zrt., can naturally provide guarantees of a higher amount not in the form of Portfolio Guarantee, but as an individual transaction in accordance with its Business Regulations.
  • Garantiqa Portfolio Guarantee qualifies as de minimis, agrarian de minimis support, therefore the applicant must fulfil the requirements regarding aid restrictions.
  • The supported guarantee is backed by an 85% state counter guarantee.

Documents necessary for guarantee application

  • Guarantee application signed by the credit applicant, furthermore, the Garantiqa declarations (General declaration, Preliminary Information Request (EIK) declaration, and one of the support declarations),
  • furthermore documentation required by the bank for the credit assessment.
